  • What is the interview process like at Auros?

    Our process is fast, transparent, and focused on real capability. You’ll meet a mix of leaders and teammates who want to understand how you think, how you solve problems, and how you work with others. Expect practical discussions, assessments of your technical depth, as well as space to ask anything you want to know. We move quickly and always aim to give clear feedback.

    What to expect for:

    Tech roles

    • Technical deep dives: Covering fundamentals like data structures, system design, distributed systems, or low-latency concepts — tailored to your background (backend, infra, quant dev, etc.).
    • Practical problem-solving: We focus on how you reason, not whiteboard theatrics. You’ll walk through real engineering scenarios relevant to our systems.
    • Code discussions or take-home work: Short, focused tasks or code walkthroughs that reflect the work you’d actually be doing.
    • Cross-functional conversations: Engineers often collaborate directly with traders. We’ll explore how you communicate trade-offs, handle ambiguity, and build together.

    Trading

    • Brain teasers: We’ll explore how you approach uncertainty, think under time pressure, and structure decisions.

  • Does Auros support remote or global-first work?

    Yes — we embrace a global-first model for many roles. Some positions are fully remote, while others sit in one of our hub locations to support quick collaboration and real-time problem-solving. Each job description will outline whether the role is remote or office-based, and which time zone it operates in. We typically care far more about when you work and how well you collaborate than where your chair is. For remote workers, we also schedule regular in-person gatherings to strengthen relationships and deepen collaboration beyond the screen.

  • What qualities does Auros look for in candidates?

Technical depth, clear communication, and a willingness to dive into unfamiliar topics will go a long way.

  • Do I need prior experience in crypto or digital assets?

    Prior experience is definitely a plus — but not essential for every role. What is essential is curiosity: you need to be genuinely interested in how digital markets work and willing to learn fast. For roles where crypto experience is a prerequisite, we’ll make that clear in the requirements.
